Open Studios June 2018 || Intoart

Join us at Peckham Levels on Friday 8th to Sunday 10th of June and experience our very first Open Studios event. Home to an array of creative, independent and diverse businesses from architects and fashion designers to violin makers and community dance troops, we’re finally opening all of our 7 levels for you to enjoy.

Intoart is an art and design studio working inclusively with people with learning disabilities. Our artistic programme creates opportunities for production, leadership and audience engagement. Intoart will be programming a series of special events throughout the Open Studios weekend.

Kicking off on Friday evening with a screening of short films in the Intoart studio, including the premiere of a new film by Ntiense Eno Amooquaye documenting her performance and display of linen and silk artworks at Texture Museum, Belgium in November 2017.

Throughout the weekend Intoart Design will be setting up stall on Level 3 with our much coveted prints, ceramics, pouches and notebooks all on sale directly from the artists, complemented by a fresh hang of artworks on display in the studio spanning drawing, printmaking, painting and textiles.

Following the government’s latest advice on COVID19, it is with a heavy heart that in addition to fully closing our doors to the public, your local food traders will now be ceasing all food deliveries until further notice.

This is a difficult time for many, including our project and the 162 small, independent & incredible businesses who call Peckham Levels home. We will be looking at ways in which we can continue to give them the platform they need during this uncertain period. By following us on our socials or signing up to our newsletter, we can collectively look at ways to support Members and local traders.

We will provide updates as soon as we can.

Much love,

Peckham Levels Team x
