Peckham Levels meets Peckham Festival

Peckham Levels is proud to announce that we will be part of this year’s Peckham Festival celebrations. Join us on Saturday 16th September as we host a packed day of food, music, art, performance and creative workshops!

Open to anyone and everyone, this all-day event will be offering a taster of the amazing local businesses, individuals and projects that you can expect to find inside Peckham Levels this Autumn.

We’re currently working with Urban Growth and Action Now to give the alleyway outside Peckham Levels a well-needed makeover. Why? To create a new community garden and a public market for everyone to enjoy. To tie in with the Festival, we’ll be launching our fresh green space and hosting a series of ongoing gardening workshops for local community groups and residents.

Highlights of the Festival will include local DJs and live music courtesy of Parched London, those duck breast nuggets and confit toasties you’ve all been waiting for from Canard, as well as freestyle dance performances from The Movement Factory, live art, talks and workshops.

We’ll be announcing our full lineup this weekend, so stay tuned!

Following the government’s latest advice on COVID19, it is with a heavy heart that in addition to fully closing our doors to the public, your local food traders will now be ceasing all food deliveries until further notice.

This is a difficult time for many, including our project and the 162 small, independent & incredible businesses who call Peckham Levels home. We will be looking at ways in which we can continue to give them the platform they need during this uncertain period. By following us on our socials or signing up to our newsletter, we can collectively look at ways to support Members and local traders.

We will provide updates as soon as we can.

Much love,

Peckham Levels Team x
