Moon Bear invites you and your little one to join us on a yoga adventure around the world!
You will learn yoga poses, practise mindfulness and meditation all through a storytelling experience. There will be opportunities to sing, play and craft all in line with the session’s theme. Each week, the yoga story will differ and the children will be exposed to different materials and activities such as making mandalas, listening to Tibetan sound bowls or exploring gem stones.
The classes will be taught by a Primary School Teacher and qualified Children’s Yoga Instructor. The learning opportunities will be endless whether it’s facts about the world, the human anatomy or the benefits of yoga for the body and mind. Through practising yoga, your little one will improve their flexibility and strength, their ability to focus and understand their emotions and embody a sense of calm.
The Moon Bear Yoga Stories is suitable for children aged 2-6 years old.
If you have a yoga mat then excellent! Please bring it along with you. If you don’t, you can hire one for £2. Parents are expected to stay with their children throughout the class and of course join in if they wish. If you have a younger sibling they are of course welcome to the session but as my qualification is for 2-11 years of age, they will not be able to join in with the yoga.
