My Eyes! My Eyes! present an(other) Evening with Ben Wheatley. Bulk! Bulk! Bulk!
We will be blessed with the great company that is Mr Wheatley for a live and loud night displaying his recent activities.
First we'll have a rare and unmissable live performance from 'Dave Welder' – electronica by Ben Wheatley & Richard Norris (The Grid), with visuals by Ben Wheatley
Then after a wholly helpful introduction we'll dive directly into the feature length mayhem of 'Bulk'. Even if you have seen this it absolutely improves with each viewing so don't get sniffy. Starring Sam Reilly, Alexandra Maria Lara, Noah Taylor, Mark Monero and the voice of Bill Nighy; it has distressed Airfix kits; the Distortion Zone; the Brain Collider; Ben's art on the walls of the Brighton house where much of it was filmed; a black dog (significant?); and much much more. Ben will take your questions and chat away until his roadie scoops him up and drives him past Peckham Rye.
Join us from 7pm in the main bar area of MULTI STORY at Peckham Levels (Rye Lane SE15 4ST). Seating is not allocated and the venue is most definitely not a conventional cinema... but, it's an amazing space and it does do food and the bar will be open throughout the night. There'll be a merch table for Ben's prodigious extra cine-activities, plus a raffle and some limited badges and stickers we made especially for this screening.
Tickets are limited for this event and we cannot guarantee any available walk-ins on the night, so grab while you can – the tickets have a booking fee lumped in but we would charge more on the door if there was any seats left unsold....
