Beyond the Bike - Adventure Cycling Panel Discussion, Film Night and Q&A

Beyond the Bike presents a night of adventure cycling: film screenings, practical tips and all your questions answered by an expert panel.

What does it take to step outside your comfort zone and set off on an adventure? Whether it’s crossing countries, traversing mountain ranges, taking on an ultra cycling event, or setting off on your first overnighter, bike adventures open up a world of challenge and possibilities.

Join Bella Molloy, host of the Seek Travel Ride podcast, and explorer Jude Kriwald for a special live event in London on May 14 and 15! Each night will bring together a different line-up of past podcast guests, sharing their incredible adventure cycling experiences. Choose one night or come to both - each show offers new stories, insights, and inspiration!

The evening will include a panel discussion, film screening, and an audience Q&A, where we’ll share stories, practical advice, and insights from the road.

What to Expect:

  • Stories from adventure cyclists - our panelists bring with them a diverse range of experiences when it comes to bike adventures. Some have cycled across the world over multiple years, others have raced across the continent in ultra cycling events such as the Transcontinental and Trans Pyrenees

  • The realities of bike travel - practical advice on navigating the highs and lows, from wild camping and dealing with unexpected challenges.

  • Solo female travel insights - hearing firsthand experiences from women who’ve ridden solo through unfamiliar landscapes and cultures.

  • Alone Across Gola film screening - this award winning film showcases panelist Jude Kriwald’s impressive bike adventure deep into the jungle of Liberia.

  • A live audience Q&A - your opportunity to ask the panelists anything about their journeys, the gear they used, how they planned their routes, as well as gaining advice for your own bike travel.

Whether you’re curious about bikepacking, interested in taking a long-distance cycle tour, training for your own ultra race, or just love hearing real adventure travel stories, this is your chance to connect with a community of like-minded people and be inspired to take your own bike adventures.
