This October seed. will be playing a very special show for Sister Midnight at Peckham Levels with support from Amy Gadiaga and Social Records Society DJs.
Formerly known as SEED Ensemble, seed. is a Mercury Award-nominated ten-piece band led by alto saxophonist and composer Cassie Kinoshi.
The band presents a stellar line-up featuring some of London’s best young jazz musicians. West African and Caribbean influenced, seed. explores a blend of genres through original compositions and improvisation.

Amy (pronounced AH-MI) Gadiaga is bassist, vocalist, composer and dancer from Paris, based in London. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she studied double bass and won several distinctions including a prize from the Royal Philharmonic Society and a nomination for Jazz Newcomer of the Year at the 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Awards. Connecting the old-school jazz tradition of musicians such as Betty Carter or Wayne Shorter with her own style, Amy offers performances that celebrate artistry and freedom.
