Steve Albini, an icon of indie rock as both a producer and performer, died on Tuesday 7 May, of a heart at his recording studio, Electrical Audio.

We pay tribute to the great man with a screening of his legendary 2004 lecture where for 90 mins he discusses early influences, recording demos, record labels, recording contracts, budgets, mixing, digital recording vs analog, compression, autotune, internships, trends and more.
