The South London Soul Train is back at Peckham Levels for another night of live and direct music, plus funk, soul, rare groove & disco specialists on the decks.
Headliners will be the positively stage storming, dynamic BRASSTERMIND, celebrating their 10-year anniversary, so expect audio fireworks aplenty and nothing but good vibrations all night long. If you’ve never experienced the 10-piece brass band from Brixton, they play the very best New Orleans-style soul and funk party tunes! Expect re-imaginings of everything from Fela Kuti to Nirvana to Rihanna to Snoop Dogg.
Meanwhile on the decks, heavyweight DJ’s FEMI FEM and Mukatsuku Records head honcho NIK WESTON will be dropping Funk, Soul, Afro, Jazz, Boogie, Disco and beyond. Both DJs will be in search of the perfect break, beat and positive vibration - delivered for max dancefloor action and soul satisfaction.
