The latest in Poltergeist Theatre’s immersive London performances, The Things is a clown theatre show for family audiences, inspired by the historical objects uncovered by archaeologists.
The Things are two creatures who have happily lived in the dusty archives of history for, well, nobody knows how long. They dig through the ancient mud of the city, collect their favourite things, and that’s that. But then one day, their treasures of history begin to speak back...
It turns out every object has its own tale to tell.
Join The Things on a journey through time, as they unlock stories that have been buried for centuries. They’ll come across mud-wrestling skeletons, a choir of buried trees, a villainous snail, and much more...
So what are you waiting for? Grab a spade, dig into the dirt, and become part of the fun. By getting lost in the past, what might we learn about ourselves today?
The Things follows hot on the heels of Poltergeist’s acclaimed festive family shows, and is a collaboration between Poltergeist Theatre and MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology), connecting families with archeological finds through interactive comedy performance.
